Events and Tastings:

About us:
Melinda and Terry, the owners of Get Some Liquor, are committed to creating a shopping experience different than your typical corner liquor store. We understand you work hard for your money and you can shop anywhere you want, especially in Greeley with so many choices. From the moment you walk into Get Some Liquor, you will notice the difference. You will feel a welcome vibe, an upscale atmosphere without the upscale prices, and a surprising variety of options. While on a trip with her son, Melinda saw a restaurant ad in the hotel magazine that said “Get Some! You’re gonna want what we got.” That line inspired our name and drives our decisions. We want our customers to want what we have to offer and not shop here by default because it is the closest store. Our tasting events are more than just samples on a table and usually involve a theme, often accompanied by a food truck, and feel more like a gathering of friends than a sample station designed to sell you a product. Whether you’re making a quick stop for something simple, buying a gift, having a party, trying something new or stocking your basement bar, chances are you’ll find what you’re looking for and more.
Beer:
We offer a variety of domestic and imported beers. Beyond the basic staples, we offer an impressive variety of craft beers, including several NoCo local options. Not finding what you’re looking for? Just ask us and we will do what we can to bring in something new.
Seltzers, Hard Tea, Mixed drinks:
Of course we carry a range of seltzers, hard teas and other pre-mixed drinks. Whether you’re looking for the latest trend or keeping it basic, we have a variety to choose from and bringing new options in monthly!
Liquor:
If you’re in the mood for tequila, whiskey, bourbon, scotch, vodka, gin or liqueur, our shelves are full of variety. You will find high quality options you can drink straight or on the rocks. If you’re looking for a mid-range that you can use to make a mixed cocktail we have plenty of choices!
Wine:
Melinda and Terry may not be wine experts, but are dedicated to bringing you quality wines at affordable prices. Maybe they can’t tell the difference between a grape grown on a hillside with the perfect ratio of sun, shade, or temperature cool down at night, but they know when they taste something that is worth drinking. As normal, every day people, they focus on good tasting, price conscious wines you won’t find in grocery stores. Get Some Liquor does carry some common wine varieties you can find at your local grocery store, but the focus is to find unique options our customers will be proud to share with friends and family.
